Get Ready To Change Cellphones, IPhone 11 Pro Max Now Enters Apple's 'State' Product Category

JAKARTA iPhone 11 Pro Max users now need to consider changing phones to a newer model. The reason is, Apple has officially entered the phone model into the vintage or old age product list.

This category shows that the iPhone 11 Pro Max is quite old. Not only the most expensive model of the iPhone 11 line, Apple has also included the Apple Watch 3 Series in the list.

According to Apple policy, a product can be categorized as an old-school item within five years after the company stopped selling it. Despite falling into the old category, this phone still gets support from Apple.

Products categorized as old school still get services and hardware parts from Apple. However, this is just Apple's first step before stopping official support for the phone.

It should be noted that Apple only adds a 6.5-inch iPhone 11 Pro Max model to this list. The smaller model, namely the 5.8-inch iPhone 11 Pro, is currently not in the old-school product category.

This old-school status is a warning to users that official support will end completely in the next five years. After going through that period, the product will be labeled obsolete and all official support will end.

Along with the iPhone 11 Pro Max, all variants of the Apple Watch Series 3 are now considered old-school, including Aluminum models, Edition (Keramik), Hermes, Nike, and Steel Tahan Karat. A total of 11 products have just been added to this list.
