The Perpetrator Of The Stabbing Of The Elderly In Kebon Jeruk Intentions To Buy A New Knife To Stabbing His Friend

Kebon Jeruk Police Chief Kompol Nur Aqsha Ferdianto said the perpetrator who stabbed the elderly with the initials SB (65) to death on Jalan Patra Raya, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, on Tuesday (30/9) deliberately bought a new knife before committing the crime.

"(The perpetrator) equipped himself with a kitchen knife that was just purchased at a shop in Patra Market which is close to the TKP (stabbing)," Aqsha told reporters in Jakarta, Wednesday.

Immediately after buying a knife, the perpetrator with the initials EH (50) immediately went to the victim at his LPG kiosk.

"The perpetrator was angry, then this perpetrator came, immediately stabbed, yes, or stabbed the victim, at which time the victim was in a prone position, yes. Opening the package received at the kiosk," said Aqsha.

The PLANt landed right at the bottom of the victim's back. Blood then poured so that the victim had to be rushed to the hospital immediately.

"So, after being stabbed (11.00 WIB), he was rushed to the hospital. Then under treatment, after a few hours later, 3 hours or 4 hours later he was declared the victim died in treatment," explained Aqsha.

After the incident, the police quickly arrested the perpetrator at the stabbing location.

Furthermore, Aqsha also revealed that the stabbing case against the elderly was based on debts worth hundreds of millions by the perpetrators.

According to him, this amount is an accumulation of the habit of perpetrators who often borrow money from victims who are still relatives.

"From the statements of the witnesses examined, the information is worth tens to hundreds of millions. So the accumulation, yes, has borrowed a lot," said Aqsha.

It was this accumulated debt that made the victim take the initiative to sell goods in the form of a former kerosene tank belonging to the perpetrator.

"The victim sold the perpetrator's belongings because he was upset that the debts had not yet been paid. So he said, "yes, I think this is to pay off your debts," Aqsha explained, demonstrating the victim's words to the perpetrator.

The action of the victim who sold the tank then made the perpetrator angry and immediately went to and stabbed the victim using a knife.

For this act, the perpetrator is suspected of Article 355 subsidiary 354 of the Criminal Code regarding severe persecution planned to cause death.

"The maximum penalty is 15 years in prison," concluded Aqsha.
