No Need To Worry, All Indonesia Application Guarantees Passenger Data Security

JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Development (Menko IPK) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) ensures the security and confidentiality of personal data for users of the All Indonesia application service which has now been implemented at all international airports and ports.

AHY said the use of the All Indonesia application continued to increase, with the level of activity reaching around 50 percent.

The government encourages airlines to aggressively carry out socialization so that their adoption will be more progressive.

According to AHY, the All Indonesia application has officially become a one-door service policy implemented at all international airports and ports.

This system is expected to make it easier for the community, both Indonesian and foreign citizens, to meet the needs of travel to their homeland.

"Of course this integration is the fruit of hard work from all parties. Starting from immigration, customs, health, to quarantine. Everything is connected in one application," he said.

AHY added that this service is also intended to accelerate administrative processes, ranging from immigration, health, customs, to quarantine. This integrated system is considered to be able to provide efficiency, shorten service time, while increasing tourism competitiveness and investment in Indonesia.

"We want anyone who enters Indonesia to feel more confident and comfortable, because the final goal is to encourage world-class economic growth and tourism," said AHY.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Immigration and Corrections (Minister of Imipas) Agus AdtiNTO emphasized security guarantees for data on users of the All Indonesia application.

"We are committed to maintaining confidentiality. In essence, we will both ensure user data is protected," he said.

Agus explained that this system can automatically detect passengers and goods entering Indonesia. Later, the inspection will be divided into red lanes and green lines according to the need for supervision.
