Galatasaray Mocks Liverpool After Victory In The Champions League

JAKARTA - Galatasaray continued their victory over Liverpool on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, early morning WIB, with simple ridicule directed at the English club.

Galatasaray surprised Liverpool with a 1-0 win in the 2025/2026 Champions League group stage. Victor Osimhen scored a penalty in the first half in a match where Liverpool dominated possession (67.1 percent compared to 32.9 percent) and gunfire (16: 9).

However, Galatasaray was able to survive, securing his first win of the tournament. The club then continued the simple ridicule directed at Liverpool on the X account.

"You'll never walk alone, but sometimes you walk out without points (You will never walk alone, but sometimes you come out without points)," wrote Galatasaray.

Since the 1960s, Gerry and the Pacemakers' You'll Never Walk Alone has become the famous Liverpool national anthem, sung by Kopites fans around the world. The Moto appears at the top of the club logo.

Muskly's gate - which was built in honor of Liverpool's legendary manager, Bill Shakly - also features the phrase.

The defeat marked Liverpool's second straight defeat, after being beaten by Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

The Reds then wanted to get back up when they returned to the league against Chelsea on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Stamford Bridge.
