The Export Value Of The Republic Of Indonesia From January To August 2025 Reaches 185.13 Billion US Dollars
JAKARTA - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reported that Indonesia's total exports during the January to August 2025 period reached 185.13 billion US dollars, or grew 7.72 percent compared to the same period the previous year.
Deputy for Statistics for Production of BPS M Habibullah said that oil and gas exports (oil and gas) during this period were recorded at 9.04 billion US dollars, or decreased by 14.14 percent.
Meanwhile, non-oil and gas exports increased 9.15 percent with a value of 176.09 billion US dollars.
"If you look at the sector, the cumulative increase in the value of non-oil and gas exports occurred in the manufacturing and agricultural sectors," he said in the BRS Release, Wednesday, October 1.
He added that the manufacturing sector contributed the largest to the growth of non-oil and gas exports in the first eight months of 2025, with a contribution of 12.26 percent.
Habibullah said that several commodities from this sector that recorded significant export growth include palm oil, non-iron base metals, agricultural-based organic chemicals, jewelry and valuables, as well as semiconductors and other electronic components.
"When viewed by the state and the main objectives of the export country area, the value of non-oil and gas exports to China was recorded at US$40.44 billion, an increase of 8.68 percent compared to the January-August 2025 period," he explained.

He said cumulatively, non-oil and gas exports to the United States, ASEAN countries, and the European Union also recorded an increase, while exports to India actually decreased.
