The Rp2 Billion BOS Fund Case At SMAN 9 Mataram Is Still Stalled In Investigation
The Mataram City Police, West Nusa Tenggara, stated that the handling of the alleged corruption case of school operational assistance funds (BOS) at SMAN 9 Mataram for the 2021-2022 budget year is still in progress at the investigation stage.
"The status is still in the process of being investigated, the investigation has not yet been entered," said Head of the Mataram Police Satreskrim AKP Regi Halili in Mataram, Antara, Wednesday, November 1.
He explained that investigators were still investigating allegations of unlawful acts (PMH) through data collection and information.
"We are still investigating PMH," he said.
Regi admitted that the investigation into this case took a long time since mid-2024, before he served as Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Mataram Police.
He promised to provide legal certainty over the status of this case after the two major corruption cases that are now being handled are completed, namely the case of procuring medical masks during the COVID-19 pandemic and renting heavy equipment from the Lombok Island Provincial Road Maintenance Center at the NTB PUPR Service.
"Later, after that, only BOS funds," he said.
During the investigation process, the Mataram Police Satreskrim Corruption Unit has requested information from a number of parties, including dozens of partners in the procurement of goods and services project related to the use of BOS funds for the 2021-2022 period.
The procurement includes office stationery (ATK), books, and physical work in the form of room rehabilitation, paving block installation, and school park construction.
Apart from partners, the police also examined structural officials at SMAN 9 Mataram. The investigation was focused on the alleged price of goods and services in the project sourced from the school's BOS funds.
