BGN Reports 10,012 SPPGs Formed, Cases Of Implementation Disorders Reaches 75 Incidents

JAKARTA - Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, conveyed developments related to the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program to Commission IX of the DPR RI. Dadan said that to this day, BGN has formed 10,012 kitchens of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) spread across 38 provinces, 509 districts and 7,022 sub-districts.

"This was told last night, we managed to form 10,012. So at the end of September we targeted 10,000. Alhamdulillah, 10,012, so we exceeded the target of 12 and God willing, the absorption will also increase, because one SPPG stands, the absorption will increase between Rp900 million to Rp1 billion," said Dadan during a meeting with Commission X DPR at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, October 1.

"So in the next five days the absorption of the nutrition body will increase by Rp5 trillion," he added.

Dadan also said that BGN's monitoring of nutrition was divided into three regions. Among them, the first region in Sumatra, the second region in Java, and the third region in Eastern Indonesia.

"And we need to convey that the formation of a nutrition management unit has two clear terms, namely the period from January to July we managed to form 2,391 SPPG, while from August 1 to September 30 we managed to form 7,621 SPPG," he explained.

Then the distribution of cases of digestive disorders or cases in the SPPG, said Dadan, from January 6 to July 31, there were approximately 24 cases of incidents. Meanwhile, from August 1 to last night there were 51 cases of incidents.

"So finally, yesterday's incident was in Pasarbo and also in Kadungora. And Kadungora is an unexpected thing, because actually SPPG provides food twice: the first one is cooking fresh, then because there is a renovation he wants to distribute food for today, and one of the foods distributed is milk. The milk is immediately drunk, and it then causes digestive problems," he explained.

Dadan said, in the first region, there were 1,307 people who experienced digestive disorders. Area two has increased, no longer 400 147, but an increase of about 60 people in Garut. Then region three, there are 1,003 people. "And we recorded a date per date of this incident case," he said.

Dadan added, in area 1 there was an incident on February 18, namely in Tanjung Kumpang, South Sumatra, as many as 8 people. Then the last incident occurred on September 25 in two areas, namely in Karimun East Lakam 14 people, and in Palembang City, Kaldoni 12 people.

Then region two began to record the first incident on January 14, there were 6 people who were detected as having health problems. And finally, the September 30 incident at SPPG Pasarbo was 15 people.

"This happens to be one class, and then also in Kadungora last night it was 30 people," he said.

Then in the third region, there were 17 cases recorded. BGN detected starting from January 13 in Nunukan there were 90 people, then on January 24 at Ujung Bulu 4 people.

"So 4 people, we also recorded 1 person who was sick. Then January 27 in Minasatene 7 people. And finally in Mamuju there are 27 people," he concluded.
