Real Madrid Boss Responds To His Business List Of FINDing Money At Israel's Illegal Settlements In Palestine

JAKARTA - Florentino Perez, the boss of a Spanish-based ACS construction company, denied his business of making a profit or money in Israeli illegal settlements in Palestine.

ACS is included in the latest list released by the United Nations (UN) regarding companies operating in Israeli occupied territories in the Palestinian territories.

"ACS is not carrying out any activities in Israel or in Israeli settlements," Perez said in a statement, quoted from AFP, Tuesday, September 30.

Perez, who is also the President of the Real Madrid football team, requested that ACS be removed on the list on the grounds that he had sold his subsidiary operating in Israel in 2021 named SEMI.

The United Nations on Friday last week released the latest data on companies operating in illegal Israeli settlements in Palestine, which lists 158 companies from 11 countries.
