Cartenz Peaceful Dismantle Ammunition Supplier Network For Puncak Jaya KKB

The Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force dismantled a network of firearms and ammunition suppliers to the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Karubate Village, Muara District, Puncak Jaya Regency.

Head of Damai Cartenz Operations Brigadier General Pol. Faizal Ramadhani said that while carrying out law enforcement operations on Monday, September 29, his staff secured two KKB members, namely Emek Enumbi alias Air and Hugon Gire alias Yemiter Murip.

When arrested, Hugon Gire alias Yemiter Murip carried a number of ammunition.

"Based on their confession, the ammunition is planned to be handed over to the KKB Ternus Enumbi alias Tesko who is also operating in the Puncak Jaya area," said Faizal Ramadhani, confiscated by Antara.

The evidence confiscated by the authorities included six rounds of 9 mm caliber ammunition, two rounds of 7.62 mm caliber ammunition, four rounds of 5.56 mm caliber ammunition, one bag, one blue plastic bag, two banana leaves, and one unit of Tecno Spark's cell phone.

"The origin of the ammunition confiscated from the hands of the perpetrators is still in the process of being investigated and investigated by the Cartenz Damai Ops Task Force," said Faizal.

Deputy Head of Peace Operations Cartenz Kombes Pol. Adarma Sinaga said that when he was arrested, the two perpetrators were caught carrying ammunition.

With the disclosure of the case, the Damai Cartenz Ops Task Force will continue to take firm action against the network of weapons and ammunition suppliers to KKB in Papua.
