Gemini Coming To Google Drive For Android And IOS Devices

JAKARTA After Gmail and Doc, Google Drive for mobile devices will also be integrated with Gemini. This new support will be launched on Android and iOS devices.

With this integration, users can easily ask questions about files and folders on their devices. This Artificial Intelligence (AI) model can also be used to manage and understand content.

Gemini in Google Drive can summarize files, folders, or information spread across several documents. In addition, this AI model can take a brief discussion of one of the documents so that users do not need to read the documents as a whole.

Gemini can be accessed through several locations in the Drive app, one of which is in the upper right corner if the user wants to ask a question about the folder. If you want to talk about the document, Gemini can be activated in the document viewer.

Users may also see the Complete this file' shortcut button at the bottom of the screen. All of these access points will open a lower sheet where users can enter a hint and browse the response from AI.

This feature will be launched in the coming weeks in stages. Unfortunately, not all Android and iOS users will get this feature. Users need to subscribe first.

The Gemini feature will be available to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers, as well as certain Workspace levels. This availability includes Standard and Plus Business Packages, Standard and Plus Companies, and Google AI Pro for Education.
