Allegations Of Corruption In The Smart Village Program There Are No Suspects Yet, The Mandaling Natal Kejari Is Still Examining Witnesses
The District Attorney (Kejari) of Mandailing Natal (Madina) Regency in North Sumatra (North Sumatra) continues to investigate cases of alleged corruption in the Smart Village program.
Head of the Madina District Attorney's Intelligence Session, Jupri Wandy Banjarnahor, said investigators had examined a number of witnesses from the investigation.
"Until now there has been no determination of the suspect. Investigators are still focused on gathering the statements of witnesses and the evidence needed," said Jupri Wandy, in Mandailing Natal, Tuesday, which was confiscated by Antara.
He explained that investigators had examined a number of witnesses from various elements, ranging from the State Civil Apparatus (ASN), vendors, to village heads.
Several witnesses who have been questioned include AL (ASN), IP (ASN), L (vendors), AS (village heads), L (village heads), D (village heads), and IP (ASN).
"Regarding when the suspect was named, we have not been able to convey it. The investigative team is still working. Please give us the opportunity, later we will convey the results," he said.
Jupri said witness examinations will continue and all parties related to the Smart Village program will be summoned.
"There are still other witnesses whose statements are considered important to uncover cases," he said.

The Smart Village program is a technology-based program that aims to improve public services at the village level.
However, in its implementation, the project was allegedly problematic until it entered the investigation stage by the Madina Kejari.
The Madina Kejari appealed to all parties to respect the ongoing legal process and provide support for the realization of clean and integrity governance.
