Jakarta Metropolitan Police Still Searching For Two People Reported Missing After Jakarta Protests

JAKARTA - The Jakarta Metropolitan Police (Polda Metro Jaya) announced that two people were reported missing following the recent demonstrations in Jakarta: Reno Syachputra Dewo (R) and Muhammad Farhan Hamid (F).

However, the police are still searching for the two individuals.

"Farhan and Reno, brothers F and R, have not been found. We are still conducting the search," said the Head of Public Relations for the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Brigadier General Ade Ary Syam Indradi, in Jakarta, Antara News reported on Tuesday, September 30.

He emphasized that the police are still actively communicating with the families of the two individuals to locate them.

In addition to Farhan and Reno, two others were previously reported missing following the demonstrations in Jakarta at the end of August 2025: Bima Permana and Eko Purnomo.

However, Bima and Eko were later reported to have migrated to Malang and Central Kalimantan to live independently. Bima left Jakarta on September 1, 2025 for Malang, East Java, while Eko went to Central Kalimantan and joined a fishing boat.
