Called More Religious After The Issue Of Cheating, Lady Nayuan: Serving God Doesn't Have To Be In The Church

JAKARTA - After going through difficult times in their household, Lady Nayyan and Rendy Kjaernett are often seen to be active in spiritual activities.

This raises the notion that they are now more focused on service. However, Lady Nayyan has a wider view on the meaning of a service.

According to him, serving God is not limited only in the church environment. Every individual can serve God in everyday life through work and good deeds.

"Actually, it doesn't serve, it doesn't really have to be in the church," said Lady Nayyan in the Jakarta area, recently.

"But if you say that you serve God, you actually do it, you even do it everywhere, if for example you are aware that our lives are carrying out God's plan, it is a service," he continued.

He also responded with humility to the assumption that now he is closer to God. For him, spiritual closeness is a personal matter that cannot be judged from appearances outside.

"It can't be judged, 'Oh now it's more spiritual,' 'Oh now it's close to God.' Not really, that's right," he explained.

"But we as yes, if we can be said to be people who believe in God, try to continue to bring them closer to God," he concluded.
