Valencia Vs Oviedo Match Postponed Due To Bad Weather

JAKARTA - The La Liga match between Valencia vs Oviedo has been postponed until Tuesday, September 30, 2025 or Wednesday, October 1, 2025, early morning WIB, due to bad weather in Valencia City.

The seventh week match was originally scheduled to be played on Monday, September 29, 2025, local time.

La Liga stated that the decision to postpone the match was taken after a weather warning was issued to the region.

The competition operator then announced that the match would take place on Tuesday local time if weather conditions improve and the safety of all parties involved is guaranteed.

"The Valencia CF match against Real Oviedo has been postponed. Due to bad weather warnings, the club advises taking extreme precautions and following instructions from the authorities."

"The match will be played tomorrow (Tuesday local time) at 20.00 on Mestalla," Valencia wrote information on Instagram.

Less than a year ago, Valencia's matches were postponed due to heavy floods that killed more than 200 people in the region.

Meanwhile, Valencia is in 12th position in the league standings after winning two wins, two draws, and two defeats.

Oviedo, who is promoted to the top division of the season, is in second place from below after one win and five defeats.
