Residents Of Muara Bahari Village Often Attacked By OTK, Houses And Places Of Worship Damaged

JAKARTA - Residents of RW 15, Muara Bahari Village, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, admitted that they were worried about the brutal attack carried out by an unknown person (OTK) using sharp weapons and stones.

A (25), one of the local residents, said the unknown group had often attacked Muara Bahari Village since 2023.

"At least now, on September 24, 2025 yesterday, and last night it just passed by, it didn't make a riot on the tracks," said A, the man who asked not to be named, Monday, September 29, 2025.

Furthermore, A said, the unknown group of people attacked RT 13/15 and entered a small alley. They, he continued, usually come in groups from Jalan RE Martadinata or across the Kampung Bahari railroad tracks.

When attacking, the perpetrators often threw stones at people's houses, with the aim of inviting a brawl.

"The attack always throws stones at people's homes, invites brawls on this road. It's the residents who are restless behind who are often hit by stones," regretted A.

Luckily, teenagers in Muara Bahari Village often refrain from attacking back, so there is no brawl.

However, because they did not get a fight, the perpetrators finally damaged the residents' houses.

Meanwhile, the Head of RT 04/15, Warningsih, said that an unknown group of people often attacked his area with sharp weapons.

"Yes, people are often attacked by people who don't know, all carry sickles. They have stones, asbestos are leaking," he said.

In fact, the perpetrators also damaged public facilities such as prayer rooms in Muara Bahari Village.

"This door has been repaired three times by deliberately being kicked and kicked, I said, don't be capable, this is a prayer room for worship, it's still being concluded, it's raging," he regretted.

Usually, said Warningsih, OTK attacks at midnight or before dawn. Residents have repeatedly reported this incident to the police, but attacks have always occurred until now.

Residents hope that the North Jakarta City Government and the North Jakarta Metro Police will immediately intervene to prevent further clashes so that Jakarta becomes conducive.
