Wrong Step On Gas Pedal, Black Pajero Drivered By 15-Year-Old Boy Hits 2 Houses In Ciputat

SOUTH TANGERANG IB (15), a student who was desperate to drive a black Mitsubishi Pajero with police number B 1392 BJP, was involved in a single accident and hit two houses on Jalan Kuricang, Pondok Ranji, East Ciputat, Sunday, September 28, early in the morning.

The incident occurred at around 03.45 WIB. Ibrahim, who does not yet have a driving license (SIM) because he is still a minor, is known to drive the car from inside the complex to Jalan Kuriang Raya. When he was about to pull the vehicle back, he allegedly stepped on the gas pedal incorrectly.

"The driver is 15 years old, his status is a student. It is suspected that he stepped on the gas pedal so that the car drove and hit a resident's house," said East Ciputat Police Chief Kompol Bambang Askar Sodiq, Monday, September 29.

The car driven by IB had accelerated to the right of the road and hit an iron fence and the front wall of the house belonging to AD (36). It did not stop there, the car went back forward and hit RSH's house (31), causing damage to the fence and front wall.

As a result of the incident, the front of the Pajero car driven by IB was also wrecked, especially in the engine area, lights, and vehicle body.

This incident was reported by residents to the East Ciputat Police. The police then conducted a crime scene (TKP), examined witnesses, and recorded the identity of the driver and owner of the affected house.

Because IB is still a minor, this case does not proceed to a formal legal process. The IB family is responsible for the damage and is taking a path of deliberation with the home owners.

"There has been a statement of mutual agreement before the heads of the local RT and RW," explained Bambang.

This accident serves as a reminder that minors do not yet have legal skills or driving skills, thereby risking the safety of themselves and others.
