After The Seventh Week Of The 2025/2026 Super League, Persib Shifts Focus To The Asian Champions League 2

JAKARTA - Persib Bandung has completed its seventh week of Super League 2025/2026 agenda with unsatisfactory results. Even so, Maung Bandung immediately shifted his focus to the AFC Champions League Two (Liga Champions Asia 2).

Bojan Hodak's team is even known to have been in Thailand to undergo preparations to face Bangkok United on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the BG Stadium.

Only had a short time after appearing in the Super League, Persib was clearly faced with a big challenge to prepare for the best squad. However, Bojan Hodak feels that he already has capital thanks to his experience last season.

"We've been through this since appearing in the AFC (turn) last year, this year it's also basically the same. We have to rotate players and that's why we have a large number of players," said Bojan Hodak as quoted from the official I-League website, Monday, September 29, 2025.

On the other hand, Bojan is also faced with an injury-hit team situation. Teja Pakualam the goalkeeper was not even brought in, Marc Klok to Berguinho was also known to have suffered minor injuries.

Regarding Berguinho, Hodak has not included him in the team ahead of the Asian Champions League 2. The player is actually plotted to meet foreign slot regulations.

"Bergi cedera, itu alasannya dia tidak ada (di line-up). Alasan lain adalah hanya boleh ada sembilan pemain asing di dalam daftar (sukunan pemain)."

"Because of that, there is no name. I hope he is available in the match against Bangkok, but we are still not sure," he said.
