Police Investigate The Discovery Of Teacher's Body At The Riau Islands Anambas Garden
BATAM Anambas Islands Resort Police, Riau Islands Police, is investigating the discovery of the body of a teacher in the garden of Air Bini Village, South Siantan District.
The victim is known as Hendra Basuki Rahmat (43), a teacher with the status of a Government Employee with a Work Agreement (PPPK) who works at SDN 004 Genting Village.
"The deceased's body was found by residents in the garden on Saturday (27/9) night," said Anambas Islands Police Chief, AKBP I Gusti Ngurah Agung Budianaloka, quoted by ANTARA Monday, September 29.
According to police, the body was found supine, wearing a red shirt and black cloth trousers, about 100 meters from the highway.
The family statement said that the deceased said goodbye to leaving for the garden at around 08.00 WIB and promised to go home in the afternoon. But until the afternoon he didn't come back, his wife was worried and then asked neighbors for help to find him.
Residents conducted a search and found the victim at around 19:00 WIB in a lifeless state. The findings were then reported to the police.

Officers conducted a crime scene (TKP) before evacuating the victim to Tarempa Hospital for examination. "We have examined witnesses and asked the hospital to conduct an external post-mortem to determine the cause of death," said the Police Chief.
He emphasized that this case is still under investigation.
