DPR Calls The Initial Toxic Case Of MBG Success
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of Commission X of the DPR, Lalu Hadrian Irfani said that the free nutritious food poisoning (MBG) that occurred in a number of schools was a challenge that would bring success. According to him, the government is currently looking for the best formula to make President Prabowo Subianto's superior government program a success.
Then said, MBG is a new program that aims noble, namely providing nutritional intake for students at school in order to help prepare them to take part in learning at school.
"So what we need to appreciate is President Prabowo Subianto's intention. He is very concerned about our education world," Lalu told reporters, Monday, September 29.
The legislator from the NTB II electoral district also said that MBG is the largest investment in the world of education. According to Lalu, big programs such as MBG are not easy.
"So the incident was gravel towards success. Many of our students, who managed the kitchen well in accordance with the juklak, juknis, went well, and got nutritious food," he said.
Even so, Lalu said that many students were very happy to receive the MBG. "In fact, they said, 'Paper Mr. Prabowo'. They are very excited to accept the MBG. If it is done well and in accordance with the procedure, it will produce something extraordinary," he said.
The chairman of the NTB PKB DPW emphasized that MBG is a new program that is looking for the best formula. However, although it is still new, according to Lalu, the target is quite extraordinary.
"There is no president in this republic who made a breakthrough like President Prabowo did. We in Commission X who are partners in education are very grateful because we get serious attention from the President," he said.
Then added, President Prabowo not only revitalizes schools, but also pays great attention to students through MBG.
"This is a form of the President's seriousness in the world of education. Of course, the President and his staff are thinking about the involvement of MSMEs and school canteens," concluded Lalu.
It is known that President Prabowo Subianto gathered a number of ministers of the Red and White Cabinet at his private residence on Jalan Kertanegara, South Jakarta, last night. The meeting also discussed the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program which is currently in the spotlight due to cases of poisoning.

Previously, upon arrival in the country, Prabowo said that he was continuing to monitor the development of MBG. He will also immediately summon the Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana to discuss the problems that occurred in the MBG program.
"I've only been from abroad for seven days, I monitor that there are developments. After this, I will immediately call the Head of BGN with several officials we will discuss it," he said at Haril Perdanakusuma Air Base, Saturday, September 27.
