Bali Police Hold Random Antigen Swab For People Entering Bali
DENPASAR - In anticipation of the spread of COVID-19, Bali Police will conduct a random antigen swab to people entering the Bali area after Eid al-Fitr.
"Everyone who enters Bali later we check everything. The letters we will check, his body temperature also we will check, after that we will do rapid antigen there randomly," said Dirlantas Polda Bali Kombes Indra when contacted, Monday, May 17.
For random antigen swabs, Bali Police coordinates with the Transportation Office, The Health Office and related parties.
"We are tightening people in (Bali) that it is right that they are free of COVID-19," he added.
Random antigen swabs will be performed at the entrances of Bali. Among them, I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Gilimanuk Port, Padangbai Port. Random swabs start May 18 to 24.
If later from a random swab found there is a postifif COVID-19, the person will be isolated in a place prepared by the District Government.
"But we will see the situation as well, if for example there are still many people who come past that date, then we will still check," indra said.
Meanwhile, from the records received by Bali Police from ASDP Ketapang Gilimanuk, there has been an increase in the movement of people to Bali through Gilimanuk Port since the last three days.
As of Saturday, May 15, there were 585 people on Sunday, May 16, there were 940 people. Meanwhile, Monday, May 17, reached 1,253 people
The number is directly proportional to vehicles entering Bali since the last three days, namely on Saturday, May 15, 318 vehicles, Sunday, May 16, 486 vehicles, and Monday 607 vehicles.
