WBO Orders Chris Blamia-Smith Vs Roman Freshs To Hold Explorer Class Interim Champion
JAKARTA - The World Boxing Organization (WBO) ordered a prize offer for the boxing match Chris Blamia-Smith against Roman Dress to fight for the WBO interim cruiserweight world title, a minimum of 300 thousand US dollars.
"The minimum acceptable offer in the WBO cruiserweight division is 300 thousand US dollars," WBO said on its website in Jakarta, Sunday.
WBO said the reward offering process for the fight would take place at the Hungarian Boxing Association in Budapest on October 3, 2025.
WBO stated that 20 percent of the total prize offers must be submitted to WBO headquarters in the form of certified checks, cashier checks, or bank wessels paid to WBOs or in cash in US dollars, within two working days after the determination of the prize offer.

The non-compliance with these provisions will result in the WBO Championship Committee declaring the winning of the prize auction automatically failed and granting promotional rights to the second highest bidder in accordance with WBO regulations.
Smith and Fress are also required to provide written confirmation to WBO regarding their willingness to continue the match.
WBO stated that if these provisions were not obeyed, WBO would decide that WBO participants were not obedient, were not interested, and were not willing to continue or fight according to orders.
The winning of the prize bidding process must hold a WBO cruiserweight championship contest no more than 90 days and no less than 45 days after the determination of the outcome of the offer.
The WBO committee has the right to set additional terms during the reward offering process.
