Head Of BGN Report To Prabowo: Cause Of MBG Toxics Because Human Resources Need Flying Hours
JAKARTA - Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, reported to President Prabowo Subianto a number of extraordinary incidents (KLB) that occurred during the implementation of the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program.
Dadan explained that from January 6 to July 31, 2025, continued Dadan, 2,391 Nutrition Service Units (SPPG) were formed with 24 incidents.
Meanwhile, from August 1 to September 27, 2025, 7,244 SPPG increased with 47 incidents.
The number of SPPGs that have been operating to date has reached 9,615 units and has served approximately 31 million recipients.
"Data shows that many cases have been experienced by SPPG which is just operating because human resources still need flying hours," said Dadan in an official statement, Sunday, September 28.
Dadan also revealed other factors that triggered the incident, namely the quality of raw materials, water conditions, and violations of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Responding to the report, Prabowo expressed his concern over the various incidents that occurred on the journey of the MBG program.

Prabowo emphasized the need to improve governance as well as direct so that SPPG has a trained chef and is equipped with a rapid test kit to check the quality of food.
In addition, Prabowo also instructed that each SPPG has a food route sterilization tool, installs water filters, and is equipped with CCTV which is directly connected to the center.
With these various steps, Prabowo hopes to strengthen the quality of service and ensure that national nutrition fulfillment programs run more safely and trustedly.
