Huawei Cloud Introduces Supercomputer CloudMatrix384, Boosting Global AI Innovation

JAKARTA - Huawei Executive Director and Huawei Cloud CEO Zhang Ping'an, officially announced the launch of the AI Token Service supported by CloudMatrix384 supercomputer technology, at the HUAWEI CONNECT 2025 event.

CloudMatrix384 is designed so that computers can do many tasks at once, not one by one. In this way, the artificial intelligence (AI) process, which usually takes a long time, can run much faster and more efficiently.

In the trial conducted, Huawei managed to prove that the performance of CloudMatrix384 was recorded 3 4 times higher than similar products in the market.

Furthermore, Zhang also emphasized that Huawei Cloud will continue to enlarge their resource allocation for computing and AI. The goal is to create a strong foundation so that AI applications from various industries can run more smoothly and optimally.

To date, Zhang added, the number of global subscribers using the AI Computing Service from Huawei Cloud has increased rapidly from 321 in 2024 to 1,805 this year.

Huawei Cloud will continue to increase investment in Huawei Cloud's Model 'LLM', continuing to explore industrial scenarios to better understand customer needs, as well as help customers in various industries develop their own AI models.

To date, the Huawei Cloud Pangu model has been implemented in more than 500 scenarios in 30 industries, opening up new possibilities in those industries.
