Almost All Regions In Jakut Are Prone To Motorcycle Theft

The North Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) has mapped areas prone to motorcycle theft in North Jakarta.

From the results of field observations, almost all areas in North Jakarta are recorded as places prone to motorcycle theft.

"All (regions) have theft incidents," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Onkoseno Gradiarso Sukahar when confirmed, Sunday, September 28, 2025.

The areas prone to motorcycle theft are in Tanjung Priok, Koja, Cilincing, Kelapa Gading, Pademangan and Penjaringan.

"So indeed the theft is still happening in the North Jakarta area. For that, we from the Satreskrim opsnal team and the police in North Jakarta also continue to try to uncover the case," he said.

The North Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim continues to analyze the crime of motor vehicle theft (curanmor) in order to uncover cases.

"We from the Satreskrim have the task of enforcing the law related to crimes. We analyze how this theft happened and how to uncover it," he said.

Kompol Onkoseno explained that the crime of motorcycle vehicle theft was one of the crimes that had a network.

"This insurance includes crimes that have a network. So it can't be single, there must be a network. At least the network between the picker and the recipient (confessor)," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the North Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) managed to confiscate evidence of dozens of stolen motorbikes in the Sumatra area.
