BGN Opens Hotline Services, People Can Call These Two Numbers
JAKARTA - The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has officially opened a complaint channel (hotline) for the public for the implementation of the Free Nutritioning (MBG) program.
Head of the BGN Legal and Public Relations Bureau, Khairul Hidayati, said that the complaint channel will start serving complaints every Monday-Friday, at 09.00-22.00 WIB.
"To make it easier, we provide two numbers that can be contacted, namely 088293800268 (operator 1) and 088293800376 (operator 2). Each report will be verified and followed up according to the applicable mechanism," Hida said, quoted from ANTARA, Sunday, September 28.
In addition to receiving complaints, the channel also functions as an information center. The public can contact the hotline to ask about the technical programs, food distribution, and quality standards applied in MBG.
According to Hida, transparency and public participation are believed to be the key to MBG's success, which not only improves the nutrition of Indonesian children, but also empowers local MSMEs as food providers.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of BGN, Nanik S. Deyang at a press conference in Jakarta, Friday (26/9), said that the public can also access the "BGN.lapor.go.id" page to send complaints, complaints, and criticism of MBG services in their area.

Apart from that, Nanik said that BGN also has an official social media account which is also open to complaints from the public.
"On social media we are open. So, if people want DM (send private messages, ed.), then report via social media, we will immediately respond," he said.
Nanik also promised a periodic press conference session, which is a week with journalists, to provide the latest information about MBG and also provide opportunities for media crews to get an explanation from BGN when there are poisoning incidents, along with follow-up incidents.
Nanik ensured that BGN was not absent and did not cover up any incidents in the MBG implementation.
BGN, according to Nanik, prioritizes transparency and accountability in the implementation of MBG, which is President Prabowo Subianto's priority program.
