Don't Just Get Mixed With Fruit, These 4 Combinations Make Disturbances In Implementation
JAKARTA - Many people think that mixing various fruits randomly in one bowl is the best way to enjoy healthy food. But in fact not all fruit can be combined together.
Some combinations of fruit can actually have a negative effect on the body. There are fruits that should be consumed separately and not mixed with others. The same goes for mixing fruit with vegetables. This can damage the digestive system.
Fruits are indeed rich in vitamins, minerals, and other important nutrients. However, not all fruits are suitable for simultaneous consumption. According to nutritionists, fruits can be categorized into groups such as acid fruit, high water levels, sweet, and neutral.
When fruits from different groups are simply mixed, this can disrupt the digestive system and even cause long-term health problems.
Dr. Swathi Reddy, a diet counselor, explains that the habit of mixing all the fruit and vegetables in one bowl is not the best choice. Although looking healthy, a wrong combination can cause digestive problems to chronic disorders.
The following is a combination of fruit that should be avoided, as reported by the Healthshots page on Saturday, September 27, 2025.
1. Don't Mix Melon With Other Fruits
SO, melon, blewah or honeydew is refreshing and healthy, but it should not be consumed at the same time as other fruit. Melon has a very high level of water and is digested faster than other fruits. If mixed, digestion can be disturbed and cause discomfort in the stomach.
2. Avoid Mixing Regently Fruits With High Protein Fruits
Examples of star fruit are green bananas and horn banana, while protein high fruit includes guava, dry apricot, kiwi, avocado and blackberry. The body needs acidic conditions to digest protein and base conditions to digest the starch. If both are consumed simultaneously, the results can be harmful to health.

3. Don't Mix Asam Fruits with Sweet Fruits
Acid and semi-sample fruits such as Balinese oranges, strawberries, apples, tenders, andterarchs should not be combined with sweet fruit such as bananas and fire. This combination often triggers digestive disorders, nausea, acidosis, and even headaches.
4. Avoid the combination of Pepaya and Lemon
Pepaya and lemon are one of the worst combinations of fruit. Although it may feel unique, combining it can cause serious problems such as anemia or hemoglobin imbalance. According to Dr. Reddy, this combination is even dangerous for children, so it is highly recommended not to consume it at the same time.
Avoid Mixing Fruits And Vegetables
Apart from fellow fruit, mixing fruit with vegetables is also not recommended. Natural sugar content in fruit can inhibit the digestive process of vegetables. For example eating oranges and carrots at the same time can cause the stomach to feel uncomfortable.
