Trump Discusses Agreement On Gaza With Middle East

JAKARTA - President Donald Trump said on Friday that the United States was conducting a "very inspired and productive" discussion of Gaza, Palestine, with the Middle East community.

"Intensive negotiations have lasted for four days, and will continue as long as necessary until a successful deal is reached," he wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social.

According to Trump, all countries in the Middle East were involved, Palestinian resistance group Hamas was aware of the discussions, and Israel, including its leader, Benjamin Netanyahu, had been informed at all levels.

He added that there was greater enthusiasm and goodwill to reach an agreement "after decades, than I've seen before."

He also emphasized that all parties wanted to leave the era of "death and darkness."

Trump, who said he was proud to be involved in the talks, said the hostages in Gaza should be released and continued permanent peace must be realized.
