ChatGPT Pulse Present, Ready To Give Daily Updates When You Sleep
JAKARTA - OpenAI has just launched a new feature called ChatGPT Pulse, a proactive daily feed that displays a summary of personal updates every day. Instead of waiting for questions from users, now ChatGPT will first agree' with relevant information when you wake up.
This feature is currently still in the preview stage for Pro subscribers on mobile devices, but OpenAI plans to expand it to Plus users and later to everyone.
How does it work? Pulse runs overnight by collecting contexts from your conversations, as well as "if allowed" from connected applications such as Gmail or Google Calendar. The results will appear once a day in the form of interactive visual cards that can be scrolled, opened, or continued to deeper chats.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman even called Pulse his favorite feature so far through uploads on X. According to him, Pulse brought ChatGPT closer to becoming a proactive personal assistant.
Users can also set the content they want to display themselves. For example, asking for a local roundup of events every Friday, or tips about a new hobby. There are thumbs up and down buttons to provide feedback to make recommendations more relevant, as well as the option to clear the history of the curve if you want to start from scratch.
Uniquely, Pulse is only refreshing once a day. There is no endless feed like social media. OpenAI emphasized that this was intentional so that users would not sink into the flow of content, but simply get the information needed and then continue their daily activities. If not saved or followed up, Pulse updates will disappear.
With this approach, Pulse is not just an additional feature, but can be the first step in making ChatGPT a more intelligent and more relevant digital assistant to everyday life.
