Kejari Humbang Hasundutan Destroys Evidence Of 18 Cases, Including Marijuana & Sabu

JAKARTA - The District Attorney's Office (Kejari) Humbang Hasundutan, North Sumatra, destroyed evidence from 18 criminal cases that had permanent legal force (inkracht) from February to September 2025.

Head of the Kejari Humbang Hasundutan, Noordien Kusumanegara, during an activity in Dolok Sanggul, Thursday, September 24, said that the dominating cases were general crimes (tipidum) and drug abuse cases.

"In total there are 18 cases where we destroy the evidence. The most dominant case is the case of drug abuse with 103 grams of marijuana and 42 grams of crystal methamphetamine," he said.

He emphasized that the destruction of evidence was part of the implementation of court decisions, as well as a step to avoid misuse or irregularities of evidence that had been inkracht.

"This destruction is the commitment of law enforcement officers in following up on cases that already have a permanent legal decision," he added.

The evidence destroyed was not only narcotics, but also documents, clothes, bags, ropes, glass, drug suction devices, electric scales, electronic devices, to sharp weapons.

The destruction process is carried out according to the category of goods. Narcotics and drugs were destroyed by being blended so that they could no longer be used, while other evidence was burned in an iron trash can in the yard of the Humbang Hasundutan Kejari office.
