Army Chief Of Staff Asks Officers Who Increase Ranks To Be More Motivated To Work

JAKARTA Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General TNI Maruli Simanjuntak asked all officers who received promotions to make this achievement a motivation in increasing loyalty and service to the nation.

"The promotion should be a motivation to continue to provide the best service to the nation and state," Maruli said in his remarks at the report on the promotion of 65 TNI AD officers at the TNI AD Headquarters, Central Jakarta, Friday (26/9).

Based on the official TNI AD press release, Saturday (27/9), 65 officers received promotions. Of these, 40 people are high-ranking officials (Pati) in the TNI AD structure, while the rest come from outside the structure.

Details of promotions include three Pati who now hold the rank of Lieutenant General (three stars), 23 officers with the rank of Major General (two stars), and 39 officers with the rank of Brigadier General (one star).

Maruli emphasized that the promotion received by the officers was the result of their loyalty and dedication while serving within the Indonesian Army and to the state.

With the new rank being held, officers are asked to be more responsible in carrying out the duties that have been entrusted.

"This promotion is a trust from the state that must be accounted for as well as possible," said Maruli.
