Jakut Police Seize Dozens Of Stolen Motorcycles Sent From Jakarta To Sumatra
The North Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) confiscated a number of evidences of dozens of stolen motorbikes from Sumatra.
The disclosure of dozens of motorbikes is the result of the development of the perpetrators of theft who have been arrested in the North Jakarta area.
"There were dozens of motorbikes confiscated as evidence of theft crimes. Some of the stolen motorbikes have been sold for vehicles in the gardens of the Sumatra region," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Onkoseno Gradiarso Sukahar to reporters, Friday, September 26, 2025.
Apart from motorbikes, the police also arrested a number of suspects in the Jakarta-Sumatra provincial cross-currency theft network.
However, Kasat was reluctant to mention the total number of suspects because in the near future his party would officially release the case.
"(suspect) It is still under investigation. Maybe in the near future we will do a release," he said.
