Alibaba Cloud Announces Plans To Launch New Data Centers In 8 Countries
JAKARTA - Alibaba Cloud announced its latest strategic plan to launch its first data centers in Brazil, France and the Netherlands, with additional data centers in Mexico, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and Dubai in the coming year.
Announced at the Apsara Conference 2025 event, this expansion will include the establishment of new regional service centers in Indonesia and Germany to provide 24-hour customer support in various languages.
"Our global infrastructure strategic expansion is designed to meet the increasing demand of visionary customers," said Feifei Li, President of International Business and SVP of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Group.
Not only data centers, to further develop a dynamic technology ecosystem, Alibaba Cloud has also launched an AI Catalyst Program designed to support the growth and expansion of global AI companies.
The selected company will get support from industry experts, access to AI products and tools, as well as go-to-market resources, covering up to 2 billion free tokens on the Studio Model, an integrated generative AI development platform from Alibaba Cloud.
