Digital Smart Screen Begins To Enter School, Initial Distribution 10 Percent
JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Basic and Secondary Education (Wamendikdasmen) Atip Latipulhayat said that the progress or progress of sending digital smart digital screen smart screens or interactive flat panels has reached 10 percent.
"Until now, how many percent of the delivery of interactive panel equipment may have reached? 10 percent is more or less," said Deputy Minister of Education and Technology Atip during the Non-formal and Informal Education Festival and Commemoration of International Aksara Day 2025 at the Ministry of Education Office, quoted by ANTARA, Friday 26 September.
Deputy Minister of Education and Technology, Atip, said that he had visited the provider or screen vendor directly to ensure that the device was really working.
"I have visited schools as well. In general, content in particular is very helpful and welcomed, even though it has only just arrived on the island of Java," he continued.
Atip emphasized that the delivery of this technological device is also one of the government's efforts to improve the literacy quality of the nation's children, especially in digital literacy.
According to him, literacy challenges are not only in remote areas, but also appear in urban communities due to digital disruption, low interest in reading, and inequality in educational resources.
"So, by using technology assistance, we can accelerate the elimination of illiteracy eradication, God willing," said Deputy Minister of Education and Technology Atip Latipulhayat.
Previously, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto said the government would gradually provide smart digital screens in schools.
"We have spread it now, but we have only been able to do one school, one digital smart screen, smart digital screen. But that means this year, we hope that 330 thousand schools will be able to," he said.
