TNI Personnel Bring Weapons Of Long Laras Ngamuk In The Lobby Of The Red Pelat Bank
JAKARTA - TNI personnel Praka S went berserk at a state-owned bank on Jalan Andi Mallombassang, Somba Opu District, Gowaden Regency. Praka S shot with an assault rifle (SS1), Thursday, September 25, 2025.
According to witness initials A, a local resident, the perpetrator came with a long-barreled weapon and entered the lobby of the Sungguminasa Branch bank screaming.
Witness A then tried to calm the perpetrator by giving him drinking water. The perpetrator then had time to tell A that he was in a state of dizziness.
The witness then contacted a member of the TNI with the initials Peltu B via WhatsApp message. Witness A said that a man came screaming in a state-owned bank carrying a long-barreled firearm.
At around 09.10 WITA, Pjs. Danunit 1409/Gowa with 4 members visited the BRI Sungguminasa Branch Office. After arriving at the location, a member of Inteldim 1409/Gowa named Serda P tried to approach Praka S.
However, Praka S immediately lifted the long-barreled firearm he was carrying and pointed his barrel at Serda P.

With great care, Serda P pushed the firearms up and an eruption occurred towards the wall of the bank security entrance.
Then Serda P immediately embraced Praka S while attaching the neck and managed to paralyze him. The perpetrator was then handcuffed. Meanwhile, the firearm was secured by members of the Inteldim 1409/Gowa Unit.
At around 09.45 WITA, Praka S was accompanied by members of the Inteldim Unit and 2 members of the Intelligence and Security Police were secured to the Kodim 1409/Gowa Office.
The perpetrator was immediately taken to the Intelligence Staff of Kodim 1409/Gowa for questioning. Furthermore, Praka S and the evidence were handed over to First Lieutenant Arm Malik, Pasi Pam Division 3 Kostrad.
The evidence confiscated was one SS weapon, 86 rounds of sharp ammunition, 1 magazine, 1 backpack and a cellphone charger.
There were no casualties or injuries as a result of the shooting. Material losses were only damage to the bank's security walls. A 5.56 caliber bullet casing was found.
Information said that the perpetrator was suspected of being in debt, so he felt hopeless and committed an act that violated the law.
In addition, the alleged shooting was also indicated by an alleged attempted robbery of the bank. However, the shooting case is still under investigation.
