Residents Reported, Psychotropic Drug Seller Cosmetics Shop Raided By Satpol PP In Pulogadung

The Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) Pulogadung District raided a cosmetic shop selling psychotropic drugs or group G on Jalan Tenggiri, Jati Village, East Jakarta.

"The drug shop raid was carried out together with members of the Satpol PP with personnel from the Pulogadung District Police and Koramil," said Head of the PP Head of Pulogadung District, Andik S in East Jakarta, Thursday, September 25.

The shop raid, which was carried out on Wednesday, September 24, after the Satpol PP of Pulogadung District received reports from the public through social media and applications.

In the raid, there were several types of drugs confiscated, such as Koplo pills, eximers, tramadol and several other types. The amount of evidence confiscated was 6,300 psychotropic pills or Category G drugs.

Officers also searched the upper room of the shop and found one plastic drug of various types.

"This is a follow-up to reports from residents of a cosmetic shop selling drugs containing psychotropic substances," said Andik.

The shop owner with the initials MI was caught camouflaged the sale of the illegal drugs with cosmetics that had expired or were no longer worth selling.

"The perpetrator has been selling for two years and the price varies, starting from Rp. 10,000 to Rp. 30,000," said Andik.

The shop owner was then recorded by the Satpol PP Pulogadung District for having committed a minor crime (Tipiring).

After the owner was recorded by the Satpol PP officers of Pulogadung District, the shop was immediately closed and was not allowed to sell for a while.

"Consumers of this drug are mostly teenagers. So, the surrounding community feels restless and reports to us and today we are taking action," he said.
