Joseph Parker Wants To Rematch Anthony Joshua
JAKARTA Joseph Parker desperately wants a rematch against former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (AJ) to avenge his defeat.
Parker previously suffered defeat for the first time as a professional when he lost his WBO world title against Joshua in 2018.
"I've been wanting a rematch with Joshua for a long time. I want to avenge those defeats," Parker said.
After losing against Joshua, the 33-year-old New Zealand boxer continues to struggle to rise and now manages to hold the WBO interim world heavyweight title.

This status made him a mandatory challenger for the belt he had held. He should have fought undisputed world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk twice.
However, he could now lose the chance against Usyk who had previously applied for an extension of the negotiating deadline because he was still injured.
As an option, Parker also chose to take the ring against Fabio Wardley next month in London, England. The winner between the two names is likely to face Oleksandr Usyk.
Parker said if Usyk prefers to empty the WBO belt then he wants the option of a fight against Joshua in the ring.
"I know fighting AJ is another big fight, I don't care who my opponent is, the important thing is to make sure his opponent is someone who is in the top five in the world," he said.
Parker never wanted the WBO belt to just become empty and had a desire to fight Usyk, who he sees as the best boxer at the moment.
WBO has decided that winner of Parker's fight with Wardley next month will be a mandatory challenger for the heavyweight world title against Usyk.
The Ukrainian has to get into the ring for the game if he wants to maintain his status as the undisputed heavyweight world champion he now has.
