Not Available In 23 Countries, Jimmy Kimmel Live Gets 6.3 Million Viewers

JAKARTA - The Jimmy Kimmel Live program received a big response from the audience despite its controversy for a week. In the latest episode that aired on Tuesday, September 23, this program was watched by 6.3 million and became the most watched episode.

The broadcast of its latest episode also increased by 343% from the previous season, which was 1.4 million views.

Even so, this increase in the number of spectators took place in the midst of the Nextsar company which did not broadcast this event in 23 countries.

Earlier, United States President Donald Trump responded to the stop of Jimmy Kimmel Live by saying, "The show has no rating"

He also added that he was grateful for the support the audience showed during this week, especially regarding his opinion.

"Moreover, I want to thank those who don't watch the show and what I believe, but support my right to share that opinion," said Jimmy Kimmel.

"Even though I don't agree with many people on some of the subjects, some of the things they say make me want to vomit, it takes courage for them to talk about this and they deserve credit," he continued.

Questioning his comments about the murder of Charlie Kirk, Kimmel felt his statement that day was not demeaning to Kirk or his family.

"I never meant to demean the young man's murder. I don't think anything funny about it. I shared a message on Instagram when he was murdered, sent a prayer for his family, and I really did that," said Jimmy Kimmel.
