Komnas KIP And BPOM Test AstraZeneca Toxicity After A Case Of Men Dying After Vaccinated

JAKARTA - The National Commission for Post-Immunization Follow-up Events (Komnas KIPI) together with the Food and Drug Administration (BPOM) is testing the sterility and toxicity of astrazeneca vaccine. This is to prove the influence of immunization on the death of a man named Trio Fauqi Virdaus (22).

The trio died after undergoing AstraZeneca vaccination on Wednesday, May 5. The young man from Buaran, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, who worked at pawnshop died the day after vaccinating, Thursday, May 6.
"Now the vaccine is being tested in terms of sterility and toxicity, whether the injected vaccine is sterile or not. We also check whether there is toxicity content or not," said Chairman of KIPI Komnas Hindra Irawan Satari, Sunday, May 16.He explained, toxicity is the nature of a substance that is damaging when exposed to the structure of organisms, such as cells or organs. While sterility is tested to find out if the vaccine is clean of germs or other microorganisms." BPOM tests are usually two to three weeks. That includes toxicity and sterility," explained Hindra.Hindra said, Komnas KIPI has also been trying to investigate the death of Trio Fauqi Virdaus based on a history of diseases or comorbid that may be related to KIPI.
Based on medical records from doctors who have served Trio, said Hindra, Komnas KIPI found there was a chronic disease suffered. But it is certain that trio died not triggered by the chronic disease." When it comes to what his chronic illness is and how, it's a medical secret that we can't reveal," Hindra said.

According to him, the investigation into the incident experienced by Trio can be declared complete if BPOM has reported the test results on sterility and toxicity of the vaccine injected to the deceased. However, the investigation is also possible to proceed through the process of out-of-the-body autopsy with the permission of the family. The process of autopsy of the body, said Hindra, is required by Komnas KIPI following the absence of data supporting the autopsy process. "The data collected by KIPI does not exist at all, because the deceased arrived at the hospital has died. The doctor also did not have time to examine further. The data doesn't exist at all," he said. Hindra added that both the family and Trio actually have the opportunity to undergo a medical diagnosis in the event of a complaint of illness. Because, the deceased complained the day before since 15.30 WIB. Then the next day came to the hospital at 12.45 pm has died.

"Whereas if checked laboratory checks and CT scans it can be. We checked when the bodies were buried," he said. Komnas KIPI, continued Hindra, also plans to confirm the deceased's family regarding their willingness to dismantle the deceased's grave for autopsy purposes." We will confirm, if the family wants, yes thank God. Forensic doctors will have an autopsy. It's still possible as criminal incidents," he said.
