This Is The Defending Of Doja Cat On The Cover Of His Crowded Vie Album Criticized
JAKARTA - Doja Cat is used to controversy related to his work and personality. This time he again reaped comments on his latest album cover entitled Vie.
Friday, September 26, the album is scheduled to launch to various digital platforms. But apparently many are disappointed with the selection of the album's main cover.
In the official cover, Doja Cat appears wearing a white dress. His position hangs on a tree with a yellow parachute still growing and stuck.
Some fans find the cover disappointing. They feel the photo is like being made with a minimal budget so they are considered not to represent the contents of the album itself.
However, Doja Cat has a strong reason to choose the concept. He described it through uploads on Instagram on September 23 yesterday.
"Cylinders symbolize curiosity, happiness, and adventure. Fly you towards new experiences and views, take leaps of belief, and without limits. Trees symbolize life and wisdom," he wrote in the caption.

Seeing some negative comments, Doja Cat is more vocal on X. He defended his work confidently.
"You can't make me feel bad because the cover that has deep meaning. The greatest unifying shirt is love and integrity. I forgive your harsh criticism, but for me, I won again because I followed my heart. If I were you, I wouldn't do it," he said.
Previously Doja Cat had launched several versions of artwork for his work. Fans feel that some of these alternatives are much more aesthetic and in accordance with the meaning of the album.
