Liverpool's Response To Mohamed Salah's Failure To Win The Ballon D'Or

JAKARTA - Liverpool star, Mohamed Salah, won fourth place in the 2025 Ballon d'Or award. The club then responded to the position of the star who failed to enter the top three competitions.

The 2025 Ballon d'Or award takes place in Paris on Monday, September 22, 2025, local time or Tuesday, September 23, 2025, early morning WIB. The 2025 Ballon d'Or winner fell to Ousmane Dembele from Paris Saint-Germain.

Mohamed Salah who was nominated was in fact only in fourth place. In fact, it is known that Salah performed extraordinary throughout last season.

Despite failing to win, Liverpool still gave full support to the player after failing to win the 2025 Ballon d'Or. This was shown by The Reds from uploads on Instagram.

At the 2025 Ballon d'Or award, Dembele took first place after the impressive 2024/2025 season.

Dembele scored 35 goals and 16 assists, as well as helped PSG win five trophies, including Ligue 1 and the Champions League.

Lamine Yamal, Barcelona's young star who is also a favorite, is in second place after scoring 21 goals and 26 assists and bringing Barcelona to domestic trebles.

Previously, there was an issue about the 2025 Ballon d'Or winner. Argentine journalist Pablo Giralt revealed that Dembele would occupy second place, while Yamal was the winner.

However, the official results confirmed that Dembele came out victorious, with Yamal in second and Salah in fourth place.
