Good News, Athletes' House Today Only Filled 16.2 Percent Of COVID-19 Patients
JAKARTA - There was a reduction in the level of availability of COVID-19 patient care beds at Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Emergency Hospital today. Currently, the wear reaches 16.2 percent, so there are 83.8 percent of beds that patients do not fill.
Head of Information Kogabwilhan I, Marine Colonel Aris Mudian said, as of today there are 63 people who have completed treatment at Wisma Atlet as COVID-19 isolation patients.
"Inpatients at RSD Wisma Atlet as many as 972 people from 5,994 bed capacity. Initially there were 1,035 people treated and today there are 63 people reduced," Aris said in a statement, Sunday, May 16.
In details, there are 502 women and 470 men. They underwent isolation in Tower 4, 5, 6, and 7 of the COVID-19 Emergency Hospital Wisma Atlet.
Thus, since its inception as a place of isolation on March 23, 2020 until now, RSD COVID-19 Wisma Atlet has treated 83,249 corona virus patients.
"There were 82,277 patients discharged, with 81,346 patients cured, 844 referred to other hospitals, and 87 people dead," he said.
Currently, all isolation patients treated at RSD Wisma Atlet Kemayoran are people who have symptoms of COVID-19, both mild and moderate.
Meanwhile, patients with asymptomatic category undergo isolation in Wisma Atlet Karantina Pademangan. This hospital is also used as a place of repatriation isolation. Tower 8, 9, and 10 Wisma Atlet Pademangan currently have 2,440 inpatients.
"Today there was a reduction of 138 patients undergoing isolation at Wisma Atlet Pademangan. Yesterday, 2,579 inpatients were hospitalized," he concluded.
