Tourist Attractions In Jakarta Diludak, Jubir PSI Faldo Maldini Convinced The Election Survey Anies Will Fall
JAKARTA - Tourist attractions in the capital city are crowded with visitors on the Eid holiday this year. Ancol, for example. Although the number of visitors has been limited, but the crowd on the beach is inevitable.
Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) DPP Spokesman Faldo Maldini thinks the case of the crowds traveling on Ancol Beach will harm the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan.
He said that Anies' name in the 2024 presidential election survey exchange will fall. Because, last Friday Ancol Dreamland was visited by 43 thousand visitors. This figure exceeds the visitor limit rule by 30 percent.
"The decision to open Ancol Dreamland has been strange, people should not go home. Mr. Governor allows entry to DKI ID card, quota of 30 percent, know even membludak. That's not what Governor Anies said. The Governor's survey will be further down if more and more do not match the words and deeds," Faldo said in a statement, Sunday, May 16.
Faldo regrets Anies' indecision in implementing the rules restricting public activities during the Eid al-Fitr holiday. He said the central government is desperately preventing the flow of homecoming to prevent the spread of COVID-19, but the crowds on the tour seem to be left behind.
"The point is to prevent mobility and crowds. The virus won't discriminate against this homecoming or travel. Once there's a crowd, the virus will be free. Eid holidays, viruses keep working. Mr. Anies should be intellectual enough to understand this," Faldo said.
"The survey was from the work, no one is happy leaders who do not provide certainty. Of the 30 percent closed, the interval was reopened. If you're afraid to face a protest one or two people without thinking about the wider public. I'm sure the further Mr. Anies is from the free field, even the governor is heavy. If I can be honest, that's my opinion," he continued.
As is known, the Department of Tourism and Creative Economy (Disparekraf) DKI decided to close three tourist attractions Ancol Dreamland, Ragunan Wildlife Park, and Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) on May 16-17, 2021.
This is a follow-up to the rise of crowds of people who travel during Eid holidays. Then, the tourist area in Jakarta will be reopened on May 18, 2021.
Acting Head of Disparekraf DKI Gumilar Ekalaya urged the management of tourist attractions and the public not to loosen health protocols during the Eid holiday. Thus, there is no spike in positive cases of COVID-19 in the capital.
"It needs to work together. Hopefully in the future, both tourist attractions managers and the public, are not loose in implementing health protocols. We will continue to evaluate in terms of the opening of tourism places in Jakarta," said Gumilar.
