Wuling Cortez Darion Now Can Be Ordered In China, Launching In Indonesia At The End Of The Year
JAKARTA - After being introduced globally in Indonesia at the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) and can be ordered, the Wuling Cortez Dario can already be ordered in China.
Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Wednesday, September 24, the model, which is labeled as Starlight 730, can be ordered before the official launch in the country, with the initial order will get a discount of 2,000 yuan or around IDR 4.6 million.
Xingguang (Starlight) 730 was built on Wuling's new energy architecture and combined the company's "Sky-Spirit-God" technology series. This MPV offers flexibility in powertrains such as coming with ICE, PHEV to BEV versions.
Each variant of the powertrain displays a distinctive style signal. The PHEV version has a bold large lattice design, while the electric model displays a minimalist approach with only the lower lattices maintained and all-black treatments for improved visual differences. All versions include LED dual-bar daylights and aerodynamic side channels that strengthen the visual identity of the vehicle.
In dimensions, the Xingguang 730, known as Cortez Darion, comes with a length of 4,910mm, a width of 1,850mm, and a height of 1,770mm, with a wheelbase of 2,910mm.

In the cabin, this vehicle displays a floating mid-view equipped with physical buttons for operation. Wireless phone charging pillows increase convenience. Starlight 730 adopts a 2+2+3 seven-seat configuration, with a second row chair offering tilt adjustments for passenger convenience across various scenarios.
Behind the hood, the choice of powertrain meets different priorities. The fuel variant or ICE uses a 1.5T machine with 130 kW (174 hp). Meanwhile, PHEV combines 78kW 1.5L engines with electric motors. The BEV version has a 100 kW (134 hp) motorbike paired with a 54.5 kWh or 60 kWh battery pack, each giving a CLTC reach of 450 km and 500 km.
This model will certainly launch in Indonesia in the 4th quarter of this year.
