The Jakut Immigration Office Continues To Operate Even Though It Is Next To The Burning Carpet Warehouse
The carpet warehouse fire which was right next to the North Jakarta Class 1 Immigration office was successfully extinguished by North Jakarta firefighters on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, afternoon.
"The fire has been extinguished safely and conducively," said North Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. officer, Disposing of Miharja.
The fire was extinguished after being watered by 19 fire engines with 106 personnel.
Meanwhile, from VOI's observation at the location, the service at the Class 1 Immigration office in North Jakarta continued to run normally even though there was a fire in the carpet warehouse that was right next to him.
"The service continues as usual, there are no obstacles. Since 07.30 WIB, the public can come and can make passports," said Head of Tikim Section of the Class 1 Immigration Office of North Jakarta, Sophian when confirmed by VOI.

"Immigration services have no disturbances, there are no problems as a result of the fire next to this building. Normal service, there is nothing to worry about because the fire was immediately extinguished by the firefighters," he said.
Previously, it was reported that the carpet warehouse belonging to PT Ideal Carpet Indonesia on Jalan Agung Karya 5, RT 06/04, Papanggo Village, Tanjung Priok District, North Jakarta, was burned to the ground on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. The blackout was carried out since 06.34 WIB.
