Police Have Arrested The Perpetrator Of The Beating Of The Deputy Chief Of The Pakel Tulungagung Police
TULUNGAGUNG - Satreskrim Polres Tulungagung arrested AF (20), a fighter from Bolorejo Village, Kauman District, who was involved in the beating of the Deputy Chief of the Pakel Police while in charge of escorting a convoy of silat colleges in Tulungagung.
Kasatreskrim Polres Tulungagung AKP Ryo Pradana explained that the victim was securing an increase in the level of the silat college which was attended by a convoy of dozens of fighters.
When the group passed, there was a misunderstanding with a motorist from the opposite direction to trigger a dispute.
"The victim tried to intervene, but was attacked by the perpetrators along with about ten other people," said Ryo as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, September 22.
As a result of the beating, the Deputy Chief of the Pakel Police suffered injuries to his face and body.

The AF was identified as a recidivist in a case of abuse and was only released in October last year (2024), finally arrested.
Police are still hunting for the other perpetrators involved.
"AF was charged with Article 214 in conjunction with 212 subsidiary Article 170 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of up to seven years in prison," said Ryo.
