6 Victims Of Boat Sinking In Boyolali Found Dead, SAR Team Still Searching For 3 Others
BOYOLALI - The joint SAR team managed to find six of the nine victims of the sinking boat passengers at Kedung Ombo Reservoir (WKO) Dukuh Bulu, Wonoharjo Village, Kemusu District, Boyolali Regency, Central Java, Saturday, May 15, evening.
Head of Emergency Affairs BPBD Boyolali Kurniawan Fajar Prasetyo as the coordinator of the search for drowning victims said, until 18.45 WIB, it is still looking for 3 other people.
All six victims of the sinking boat were found dead. However, it has not been able to explain the identity of the victim because it is still being identified.
He said the joint SAR and volunteers would continue to search for the three victims who had not been found with silent operations until 9 p.m.
"The dive team and lcr boat team conducted a silent operation until 21.00 WIB. If the three victims have not been found, the search will continue on Sunday (16/5), starting at around 07.00 WIB," kurniawan said.
The combined SAR team consists of BPBD Boyolali, TNI, Polri, Basarnas and volunteers with a total of about 300 to 400 volunteers deployed in the search for victims of tenggam boats in Kedung Ombo Reservoir (WKO) Dukuh Bulu Wonoharjo Village District Kemusu Boyolali.
"I as the coordinator of the search operation for victims, SAR has found six victims in the condition of death, so that less than three other victims have not been found," kurniawan said.
Earlier, a boat boarded by local tourists had a water accident sinking in Kedung Ombo Dukuh Bulu Reservoir, Wonoharjo Village, Boyolali District, Central Java, on Saturday, and 9 victims were still in the search.
According to the Chief of Police Kemusu Police Boyolali AKP Cahyo Nugroho the boat that was boarded by about 20 people drowned while going to eat at Warung Apung Dukuh Bulu Wonoharjo Kemusu Village around 11:00 AM.
However, of the 20 passengers of the sinking boat, 11 were rescued and nine others have not been found.
