Cinta Laura Shares Cook Soto Recipe, Uniquely Using Honey!

JAKARTA - Cinta Laura suddenly reaped the spotlight after sharing a prescription for making soto in her style. The recipe for Cinta Laura's soup is unique because it uses unusual ingredients, and the way she mentions soto with foreign pronunciation steals the public's attention.

Instead of calling the word 'soto', Cinta Laura calls it English-style pronunciation, namely 'Sotow' or 'Sotoe'. For recipes for making soto, the 1993-born artist shared it on his Instagram account.

The ingredients used by Cinta Laura include limau, orange leaves, greeting leaves, lengkuas, lemon leaves, ginger, onions, garlic, turmeric, and kemiri. To complement this, he uses celery leaves, onions, and tomatoes.

In general, soto is served with cabbage. However, Cinta Laura replaces it with spinach vegetables because it is considered more rich in nutrients, especially fiber.

"We don't wear cabbage today, we use spinach because in terms of nutrition and higher fiber," said Cinta Laura, quoted on Monday, September 22, 2025.

The first step to make the soup, Cinta Laura smooths all the spices. Then he continued with the menumis of the fine spices with olive oil.

Then he prepares seasonings like pepper and pepper. Interestingly, he replaces sugar with honey, which makes his self-style soup recipe unique.

"I don't have sugar at home, so we use honey," he explained.

For honey, Cinta uses about half a tablespoon of food. Followed by boiled chicken cut, tomatoes, and other ingredients. After cooked, he served his soup with additional dagges, boiled eggs, and spinach.

Then, Cinta Laura enjoyed the soup with an ordinary spoon, but in the end she used a centong. According to him, this way of eating is more enjoyable.

"It seems less delicious if you eat soto, you don't use centong. Even though this time there is forks and spoons," concluded Cinta Laura.
