It Was Revealed, The Wife And In-laws Who Were Burned By Their Husband In Cakung Because They Were Not Made By Instant Noodles, Instead They Played Mobile Phones

Unit PPA Satreskrim Polres Metro Jakarta Timur menahan tersangka MA alias Andre (29) terkait kasus kekerasan dalam rumah tangga (KDRT) di rumah rentedan, Kampung Pulojahe, RW 05, Kelurahan Jatinegara, Kecamatan Cakung, Jakarta Timur.

Andre became a suspect for burning his wife, Siti Nurkalisah (33) and his father-in-law, Marniati (50) until he suffered serious burns. So severe the injuries suffered, Siti, Andre's wife, died in hospital last Sunday, September 21.

The Head of PPA for the East Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Sri Yatmini, said the suspect committed the act to his wife because he was upset because the victim did not respond to the perpetrator's request.

"The suspect was upset because the victim did not respond when asked to make instant noodles," said AKP Sri when confirmed, Monday, September 22, 2025.

Initially, the suspect MA alias Andre asked his wife (victim) to make instant noodles. But the victim did not respond, instead playing cellphones.

Then there was an argument between the husband and wife. The victim of SNC then ran to his mother. But instead of easing, the commotion got even fiercer.

Even though the perpetrator's mother-in-law had intervened, in fact, the perpetrator's anger peaked until finally the perpetrator could step on his mother-in-law until she suffered bruises on her eyes, neck and body.

The perpetrator MA alias Andre then took the thinner he had bought since 1 month ago.

The victim asked the perpetrator (his husband), "What are you going to do?". The perpetrator replied, "Want to burn you".

Hearing the perpetrator's answer, the victim turned back to challenge "bakar me, burn me".

The perpetrator then poured thinner liquid into his wife's face and chest. The suspect then sparked a lighter to burn the victim until the flames grew and burned his house.

After successfully burning his wife, the perpetrator fled in the bushes around the crime scene to avoid the views of local residents. The perpetrator also did not provide help to the victim when the fire broke out.

The two victims were evacuated by residents and were treated at the Duren Sawit area hospital. But unfortunately, the victim SNC finally died after undergoing treatment. SNC's body was then taken to the Pondok Kopi Police Hospital for an autopsy.

As a result of his actions, the suspect MA alias Andre was charged with multiple articles, namely Article 44 paragraph (2) and paragraph (3) UURI No.23 of 2004 concerning PKDRT and or Article 340 of the Criminal Code and or Article 351 paragraph (2) and paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code.
