Realization Of Tax Revenue Reaches 54.7 Percent Until August 025

The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) noted that the total gross tax revenue until August 2025 reached IDR 1,442.7 trillion, or grew 2.1 percent compared to the same period last year of IDR 1,413.4 trillion.

Deputy Minister of Finance Anggito Abimanyu said that this growth was supported by the electricity sector, metal ore mining, large online and trade trade, agricultural crops, palm oil and banking industries.

"So my friends, state revenue as of August 31 is 57.2 percent, so that's the achievement and tax revenue of 54.7 percent so it's not too far from average and customs of 62.8 percent and PNBP 64.3 percent is an achievement today compared to outlook 2025," he said at a press conference. Meanwhile, tax revenues until August 2025 reached Rp1,330.4 trillion, or about 55.7 percent of the outlook in the APBN which was set at Rp2,387.3 trillion or decreased by 3.6 percent compared to last year's Rp1,379.8 trillion.

Even so, if it is calculated net or clean after deducting restitution, he explained that tax revenues reached Rp1,135.4 trillion until August 2025, or about 54.7 percent of the outlook in the APBN set at Rp2,076 trillion.

However, this achievement still recorded a contraction of 5.1 percent compared to the same period in the previous year of Rp1,196.5 trillion.

"Egross consistently since March we have experienced positive growth, net the figure is 54.7 percent compared to outlook," he explained.

However, he explained that net tax revenue in August recorded a 3.8 percent decrease due to the high value of restitution given. "So there will always be a correlation factor between gross and net revenues," he said.

Furthermore, there are four main contributors to tax revenues until August 2025, namely the Badan's gross income tax (PPh) recorded an increase of 7.5 percent to Rp280.08 trillion. However, after deducting restitution, its value decreased to Rp194.20 trillion, or decreased by 8.7 percent.

Meanwhile, revenues from PPh Pribadi experienced a gross increase of 38.8 percent to Rp15.98 trillion and net also rose 39.1 percent to Rp15.91 trillion.

The revenue from Value Added Tax (VAT) and sales tax on luxury goods (PPnBM) decreased by 0.7 percent to Rp631.8 trillion. After taking into account restitution, net realization was recorded at Rp416.49 trillion, or decreased by 11.5 percent.

"For the benefit, there is a correction from the restitution," he said.

Meanwhile, the Land Building Tax (PBB) grossly increased by 36.8 percent to Rp14.36 trillion and net also rose 35.7 percent to Rp14.17 trillion.
