JITEX Done Held, Transaction Value Reaches IDR 14.35 Trillion

JAKARTA - Jakarta International Investment, Trade, Tourism, and Expo (JITEX) 2025 was completed for 5 days at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), Central Jakarta.

During the implementation on September 17 to 21, 2025, JITEX 2025 recorded a potential transaction of IDR 14.35 trillion.

From this achievement, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Rano Karno hopes that the implementation of JITEX 2025 which presents a variety of potential cross-sectors can gain higher investment value next year.

"If this year we can reach Rp14.35 trillion in five days, then in 2026 we must continue and improve again, see you at JITEX 2026", said Rano in his statement, Monday, September 22.

This year, JITEX presents 461 exhibitors, buyers, and investors from 13 countries including China, Pakistan, the Philippines, Malaysia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Costa Rica, South Korea, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Brunei Darussalam, Laos, Timor Leste, and Cameroon. The exhibition also managed to attract more than 23,000 visitors.

According to Rano, this achievement reflects the confidence of business actors, increasing people's purchasing power, and becomes an important foundation in strengthening Jakarta's role as a center for globally oriented national economic activity.

JITEX is not just a trade and investment exhibition. More than that, JITEX is a forum that brings together business actors, the government, and cross-border investors in the Jakarta business ecosystem that is inclusive and sustainable," explained Rano.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of HIPPINDO, Budihardjo Iduansjah added, JITEX 2025 brings a mission to strengthen the retail sector and encourage growth in domestic consumption.

"With the achievement of Rp14.35 trillion, the potential for transactions confirms the great potential of local business actors, MSMEs, and national brands to penetrate the global market. With the spirit of shopping in Indonesia Aja (BINA), we want to ensure domestic consumption continues to grow, as well as make Indonesia a retail economic force in the Asian region." Budihardjo explained.
